CREW PASTEL TROUSERS

ZARA DENIM SHIRT// CREW CLOTHING CROPPED TROUSERS *// RAYBAN SUNGLASSES// ZARA SHOES// H&M & FASHIONOLOGY RINGS

Hey look, I am wearing my Rayban sunglasses AGAIN. For a person who has a rather large selection of sunglasses, I cannot help to migrate towards these Raybans every time I am putting an outfit together. Best. Present. Ever.

About two weeks ago (could be three? I am terrible time keeper) I wrote a post on attending Crew Clothing's 21st Anniversary in London, where I was very lucky on getting to pick an item of my choice from their store and style it. I chose these lovely, pastel pink cropped trousers. These are not only incredibly soft (I am continually stroking my legs and I feel no shame) but such a good fit! I seem to moan and drone on about how I find it very difficult to find well fitting jeans, so I was sceptical on how these would fit. When I tried them on and found that they have that 'hugging' power that all good jeans should have, I snapped them up before even really seeing what I looked like. Cropped trousers, not usually ma' thang, but my un-lengthy legs can just about pull them off as ankle grazers. I am also trying to inject some pastels into my wardrobe, so these are a great way to start.

PALAZZO

ASOS CROPTOP// TU PLAZZO PANTS// H&M SLIDERS, HAT, RINGS & BAG// RAYBAN SUNGLASSES

When I think back to my younger self and my views on certain fashion items, palazzo pants were up there with Birkenstocks: deep inside my mothers 'uncool' closet. Who would have thought my mum would be such a trend setter ahead of her time! I applaud you Julie. So, when I was desperately in need for a pair after seeing some very well styled ones in a magazine (and I have seen many well styled ones on bloggers recently!) I thought I would have a nose through my mums cupboard before cashing out my non-existent money on a pair. My mum had about a three pairs, so I am beginning to think my mum is way ahead of fashion trends than I am.

I think palazzo pants are now my new obsession. I have already decided (in my head where apparently I store lots of money) I want a lighter coloured pair as well a black and white boho print for festivals. I think I am particularly fond of their flattering fit. The highwaist makes my short legs look that little bit longer which makes me that little bit happier.

Missguided do a great pair at the moment for a reasonable £24.99 and Forever 21 do a black and white tribal print pair (similar to Kendall Jenner's Forever 21 palazzo pants she wore at Coachella!) for £12.75 *adds to shopping basket*.

To finish up this post, I leave you with an oldie, but a goodie.

OVERSIZED WHITE SHIRT

CHARITY SHOP SHIRT (NO BRAND) & SKIRT (OASIS)// VINTAGE BAG// H&M SLIDERS// RAYBANS

Having some time to kill in Leeds the other day, I thought I would pop into my favourite charity shop of all time (and that is a big statement as I have many favourites), Oxfam in Headinlgy, Leeds. I went into the shop knowing I wanted to find an oversized white shirt to wear with light-wash denim in the summer and I found this brand new, crisp white shirt. I hit absolute jackpot after feeling how good the quality was too. I also found this Oasis faux leather skirt, which kinda has a sporty 'vibe' to it because of the draw string waist. So, as the sun was shining today, I thought I would pair the two together and give my legs some much needed sun time.

Favourites of today:

Peach, Camomile and Green Tea drink from M&S, Louis London- We're Not Alone and seeing my friend Angharad after what feels like ages

MAKING DO AND VOIR'S 1ST ANNIVERSARY EVENT

WHISTLES SWEATER// PRIMARK TOP// AMERICAN APPAREL LEGGINGS// ASOS DUSTER COAT// NEW LOOK SHOES// MONKI NECKLACE

So last night was pretty cool. I attended Voir Magazines 1st year anniversary at Normans bar in Leeds. It was such a good night full of cocktails that tasted like starburst (I am craving one now even in this early hour of the morning) and fancy canap├ęs curtsey of Hotel Chocolat. Pretty fancy indeed.

When it came down to choosing my outfit very last minute, it was a bit of a nightmare. I had actually planned wearing my leather skirt with this outfit, but in a quick rush in the rain to my friends I forgot to put it in my bag so I ended up wearing these water sodden leggings which I wore on the walk over. Not my finest hour. I am just glad I chose to wear these black leggings and not tracksuits (Baggy Adidas tracksuits and white duster coat? A fashion risk I am not yet ready to venture on).

M&S LIMITED EDITION

M&S LIMITED EDITION

I am guilty of viewing M&S clothing as a store where your Grandmother shops for clothes. In my eyes, M&S just screams 'granny pants' and 'first training bra'. I am glad that I have been enlightened to think otherwise after popping into M&S in Sheffield last weekend. As I non-intentionally stumbled into their Limited Edition section whilst my sister was on the hunt for some practical underwear (queue Marks and Sparks), I found this glorious collection. How nice are the clothes above!? And not even a granny pant nor I'm-so-practical-everything-is-going-to-be-jersey clothing in sight! What makes this even more exciting is that it is all practically half price at the moment (I have linked all the above so check it out for yourselves).
