RECENTLY PURCHASED

Recently Purchased

1. H&M MOHAIR COATIGAN// 2. H&M DRESS// 3. ZARA SHOES

I have been spending when I shouldn't be AGAIN. Oh well, clothes are great.

1. As you may have read in my previous posts, H&M is shit hot right now. I bought this mohair cardigan (really it is more like a coatigan even though that is a stupid term) and it is the best thing evaa. It is super insulating so you don't need a jumper underneath, even in this chilly weather.

2. My boyfriend actually bought me this H&M dress (d'aww) as he saw I posted about it on my blog. It's times like these that I feel that it is absolutely necessary that I keep up to date with my blog so that the boy can never go wrong whenever it comes to buying me presents (not that he has ever gone wrong before. Buying presents, I have to say, is his niche). Anyway, what I am trying to say is THANKS TOM!

3. Oh how I have 'Ahh'ed' at these shoes over the internet. I cannot wait to wear these beauties out, even though I do feel a bit like Captain Hook whilst wearing them.

INTERVIEW WITH GEORGE EZRA

George Ezra has been described as "one of the most compelling and powerful new vocalists around" by Radio 1 royalty, Zane Lowe. This has pretty much launched him into the music industry full force and created a huge following for the talented 20 year old. His mature, husky tones don't seem to match the baby faced blues singer (we find out his secret to his smooth complexion). Coming fifth in BBC's sound of 2014 as well as racking up 160,000 views on Youtube only secures a promising career ahead for George.

I thought I would just give you a quick overview of who George Ezra is for those who have never heard his music before. I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to interview him with my friend Libby, at the Wardrobe in Leeds on Wednesday. I have to say, he was one of the nicest artists I have ever interviewed. There was no arrogance or 'diva'esque' attitude like you get with some artists who have just made it into fame. He was just a really modest, normal guy. This obviously worked in Libby and I's favour as it made the interview so much more comfortable and interesting. We were also lucky enough to get tickets to watch the gig afterwards. Watching George perform just makes me revaluate what I have achieved at the age of 19 (not much). It's seriously hard not to swoon at his gravely tones and beautifully written lyrics.

This is the second part of our interview with George. We found out that George loves a good face mask; has worn make up (without being forced too) and his opinions on Miley Cyrus.

(p.s I apologise for the bad editing. I cut a bit out and couldn't get it back unfortunately!)

SUNDAY IS NOT A FUN DAY

"NOTES" CAFE IN TRINITY

RAYBAN AVIATORS// GEORGE AT ASDA JUMPER// MANGO COAT// TOPSHOP "MOM" JEANS// TOPSHOP BOOTS// H&M BAG

When you have a good weekend with friends who have come to visit you, but then the weekend quickly comes to an end and they have to leave, I can only begin to sympathise with my mum who claims she developed "empty nest syndrome" when my siblings and I left for uni. Whoever tells you they love sundays because "they are so chilled" and you "get to stay in bed all day" are lying. It has to be the most depressing day of the week (well, second to Monday). I feel sundays are either for saying goodbye to loved ones at the train station or moping around in the same spot for 12 hours straight. I am not intentionally starting this blog post on a downer, because what I really want to do is share a few photos of a really good weekend spent with my sister Rhiannon and my best friend Angharad. However, as I lay here in my bed in my tiny uni room, amongst the crumbs from our lukewarm toast I made for us this morning, I am wishing they could have stayed at least for another week (approx. I would definitely want my double bed back by then).

DELILAH DUST NECKLACES

SILVER MOON NECKLACE// SILVER FEATHER NECKLACE// GOLD BAR NECKLACE// STONE NECKLACE
I have been drooling over the jewellery selection by Delilah Dust for quite sometime now, so you can imagine my excitement when I was lucky enough to be sent some products from this wonderful brand.

I am a huge fan of dainty and simplistic jewellery (big statement necklaces are a little OTT for me), so I will be wearing these four necklaces with everything and anything. Perhaps my favourite thing about these necklaces is the fact that they are silver and gold plated, and you know what that means? NO WEIRD GREEN MARKS (Urgh, that is the worst side effect to non silver and gold plated jewellery). These necklaces are around £4 each which is uber cheap for good quality jewellery.

If you check out some other products from Delilah Dust's website, expect pastel coloured crystals made into rings, bracelets and necklaces that look almost too good to eat.

ULTIMATE COMFORT

ULTIMATE COMFORT
HARVEY FAIRCLOTH NAVY TOP// MONKI BLACK TROUSERS// KARA LEATHER BACKPACK// BIRKENSTOCK SANDALS

Oh, Birkenstocks. The marmite choice of footwear amongst my friends. Whilst one of my friends branded them as 'mums who have given up' footwear, another argued them as being in the same category of the shoe that shall not be named (crocs). I, on the other hand, have come to be obsessed by the idea of owning a pair for the summer. Just think of the comfort! No more blisters caused by jelly shoe rubbing!

ZARA MATCHING SET

ZARA MATCHING SET

MALENE BIRGER PINK COAT// ZARA TROUSERS// ZARA TOP// WHISTLES SHOES// H&M WOOL HAT// LARSSON AND JENNINGS WATCH

I saw this trouser and top matching set in Zara this weekend and haven't since been able to remove it from my mind. I love the idea of styling it with Birkenstocks as Zara have done on their website (I really need to invest in some for the summer).

WEEKEND OUTFITS// BONDAX

1. American Apparel Leotard, Vintage Skirt, Topshop Boots
2. Primark Top, Vintage 'Mom' Jeans, Dorothy Perkins Coat, Topshop Boots

This is going to be the quickest and most rushed blog post to date as it's a race against my computers battery life! I thought I would just do a quick post on what I wore out in Sheffield this weekend and share a few pictures with y'all.

 Cheeky background shot

Last night my friends and I went to Fez nightclub in Sheffield to see Bondax DJ set, and by the way I am feeling today and the bruises I have all down my arm, I think it's safe to say I had a pretty good night.

SHEFFIELD

Mango Coat/ Zara Knit Crop Top/ Missguided High Waisted Trousers/ Nike Vortex Trainers/ Vintage Leather Ruck Sack/ H&M Scarf

I am currently spending the weekend in Sheffield visiting my sister and a few home friends. I thought I would quickly do an outfit post (sorry for the wang eye shots, Sheffield was unbelievably windy today) and take some pictures of a few things that always catch my eye whilst I'm here.

1. The first of which is this amazing graffitied wall on the side of the vintage shop 'Bang Bang'. Every time I walk past this, I have to take another photo as it's just so ghad damn cool. How do people have these kinds of talents!? I wouldn't even be annoyed if this was painted on the front of my house.

2. There are many cool vintage shops in Sheffield, however 'Cow' is the one that stands out. All of the items are so wearable so you know you won't have that dreaded feeling of finding the diamond amongst the rough. It takes some serious restraint to not spend a fortune in 'Cow'.

P.S You have to listen to this Destiny Child Remix of 'Jumpin Jumpin'.

'On va chez toi ou chez moi?'- ASOS VALENTINES EDIT USING GRABBLE

These are just a few of my favourite Valentines inspired pieces from Asos. I wanted to keep the theme of feminine pastel colours, interjected with a bit of black for a sexy spin. I was thinking pretty ft. sexy; the perfect mix for valentines day. I named this collection 'On va chez toi ou chez moi?' ('Your place or mine?').

To create this collection I used the website 'Grabble' where you can choose your favourite pieces from any website and literally 'grab' the item and drag it into your 'Grabble tab' your bookmark bar so you can keep it in a collection file. By doing this, you can favourite any fashion item from any site, be alerted when the items you have favourited go on sale and share your collections with friends. Pretty great eh?

RECENTLY PURCHASED

1. Oh My Love Playsuit/ She Inside Mint Coat/ Reebok Classic Jogger Original

These are just a few things I have purchased recently.

1. I purchased this Oh My Love playsuit (although to the untrained eye it looks like a dress) in the Topshop sale. I am wearing it currently with blouses and t-shirts underneath.

2. I have talked about this coat in a previous post, however it is just to god-damn sexy not to mention again. This is a perfect spring coat!

3. Hopefully this will be the last pair of Reebok Classics (and the last time I post about them on my blog) I purchase. This obsession is getting a little out of hand now.

ON THE BRAIN

1. id Magazine Subscription 2. Reebok Classic Princess Trainers 3. Alex and Chloe Sweater

It's becoming a rather big ordeal having an insatiable appetite for clothes. While I should be saving for perhaps more important things, online shopping happens.

1. I have been an on/ off reader of id magazine for a while and have always thought it as being worth the expensive price tag. Unlike a lot of fashion magazines, irrelevant adverts do not take up 90% of the content (this is why I have never been able to finish a copy of Vogue). All of the content is also really readable and original rather than a load of bullshit that has been copied from other magazines.

2. My on-going obsession with Reebok Classics is still...ongoing..Whilst my friend the other day spotted them out to look like 'the shoes given to people if they have one foot bigger than the other' (which I think she was referring to gout), I think they are so sleek and a great everyday trainer. Ahh don't even get me started on the comfort. Literally like walking on pillows.

3. This Alex and Chloe sweater is an old favourite amongst celebrities and is pretty much sold out now. The hunt is o'wan to track this down. I'm sure they have probably replicated it somewhere by now...
